Established in 2003, Shield Security has grown from a regional guarding company into a substantial, multi-service security business protecting people, property and organisations across a wide range of sectors.
Today, hundreds of Shield security professionals and stewards work across commercial and industrial premises, construction sites, public-sector organisations, educational establishments, major facilities and events.
From our headquarters in Hull, our frontline teams are supported around the clock by Shield’s own 24-hour control centre, mobile response fleet and experienced operational management team. Our History
Shield Security was established in 2003 as a specialist guarding company. Acquisitions in 2007 and 2010 supported our continued expansion and helped establish Shield as a major provider of security services.
Over the years, our capabilities have developed considerably. Alongside professional guarding and stewarding, we have invested in our own control room, mobile response operation and a comprehensive range of electronic security services.
While Shield has grown significantly since 2003, our approach remains personal and straightforward: understanding each customer’s requirements, delivering what we promise and building relationships that last.
